Cooking can be a celestial thing.

Got a south facing window? You’re in luck…. because on a sunny day, you can cook meals with nothing more than a solar cooker and sunshine.
The Solar Cookers International Association has an entire website dedicated to the art of solar cooking, including a full page of free, downloadable plans on how to make your own, with a further link to plans on their wiki.
Many use inexpensive, common materials such as aluminium foil and cardboard boxes… one even uses an umbrella. The reflective surface is key. You also need a pot or jar that’s black on the outside, in order to absorb heat. (You can use a regular glass jar and paint it black.)
Prop these in a sunny space, make sure that you have a lid on whatever cooking vessel you’re using in order to hold in the heat, then put your feet up and relax as you wait for dinner.
